Many of the animals in this zoo were injured in one way or another at some point in time.  Some have remained and others have been returned to the wild.

This is "Maggie" the elephant that the Alaska Board members have decided to allow her to be shipped somewhere in the "lower 48" states due to health reasons and better facilities.
