Today was a really great day!! Our next door neighbors who live across from us in Suncrest were leaving for Newport, OR a few days before we left. They were planning on leaving Newport Wednesday to be back home Thursday. Neither of us thought the timing would be right for us to meet up.

Well, lo and behold, we are coming back from Tillamook where we ordered the switch for the water pump and I get a call. The person on the other side says, "They won't let us through the gate!" I said, "Who is this?" It's Brad. If you don't have their names on a list and you are not there, they will not let you in . . . which is good I guess.

Anyway, we were 20 minutes out so we decided to meet them at the Pelican Pub & Brewery at Cape Kiwanda in Pacific City which isn't far from the Thousand Trails. They are the nicest people and never thought we'd see them so soon again. Carol and I had their fish and chips which was really good and Lester and Brad had a bowl of chili.
